A closer look
at the human side.
I’m Marek Prochác, a Slovak director and producer creating films and series that take audiences behind the scenes.
My work explores different worlds through the people who inhabit them—their relationships, ambitions and the moments that shape their lives. I’m drawn to stories that offer a fresh perspective and reveal what usually remains out of sight.
On selected projects, I combine directing with producing. My background also includes editing documentaries and television programmes.
Every story begins with curiosity.
I want to understand people, earn their trust and create space for authentic moments to unfold. Through my work, I invite audiences into places and situations they would rarely experience themselves, bringing them closer to the emotions and choices behind each story.
